Album Project 

 

We have a lot of projects as a group, our main actual project is to register and edit a professional album.

In 2004 we recorded our first album Rose Hall Drummers was the first and only group that has done the first ever recording here in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

With the second and professional album, we want to change people's mind set about our culture and help to revive our sense of pride as a mix-cultured people .

First of alll, we want to make from our album the first income generating album for our organization RHCDO. (The organization became RHCDO with the drummers before it was only RHCD without development). The funds and financial gain will help in developing our community and inhancing our drumming group with better equipment. Secondly, we are willing to change people's mind sets about our culture and help to revive our sense of pride as a mix-cultured people.

In this new album, we will play our songs with other percussions and wind instruments to mix our drumming with some local groups.

We want to send a message to our local and international residents and visitors by promoting our culture heritage and show that our drumming and songs have a place in the music world and hope that it can help others to join us caring the music further.

 

 

We will make it !! Because not being able to do our album would kill the dreams of a little village drumming group such as Rose Hall Drummers.  They have high hopes and aspirations for making a change for the better of our culture and people.
